Grape God

(8 customer reviews)

Grape God is a hybrid strain with sweet berry flavours and earthy fruit aromas. The genetics of this marijuana comes from cross-breeding Grapefruit and God-Bud. These excellent buds are sticky and have seaweed green leaves, dark purple hues layered in beautiful trichomes. To conclude, the Grape God strain has impressive effects that are long lasting, relaxed and euphoric.

    TL;DR

-OVERALL 4.5/5- A little leafy, no seeds and everything is between above decent and awesome except it’s harsh on the first bowl cuz leaf. True hybrid, wicked trichomes and a favourited high profile that has an indica-leaning effect, not overly potent overall but the sleepyness, relaxation and space-out is in abundance, the cerebral uplifts and it all lasts a long time. Good luck finding better oz pricing for a high quality triple unless it’s from here too. I thought you should get a good look at these beautiful buds so here’s a bunch of the better pics I took with various lighting

I bought another oz of Grape God because I missed its high profile the most of my previous orders, this time AAA+++ instead of AAAA. If you see the quad on here again you should try it. It’s down on potency and stuff a tad from the quad but it’s also worth more than its $135 price. It’s down on pricing because even though it’s trimmed well it grew leafier than wanted but it didn’t seem to effect trichome production or effects much – still crazy. I would buy this if you want a hybrid+slightly indica-leaning type that isn’t overly potent but the high is still solid AF giving both a clear-headed yet slightly hazy effect. I’d feel totally confident buying this over a more expensive strain even if you’re high tolerance on a budget. If deciding between a half of this and a half of that I would just get an oz of this.

    -LOOKS & TASTE/SMELL & CURATION-

I was let down a little solely because I bought the better version a month or two prior and now I’m comparing it to that in the back of my mind because that AAAA was soooo bloody perfect. Solid price at $135; basically everything on this site has been a steal, especially when they have sales and their best is literally the best in the country IMO. They have some jolly forrest gnomes growing for them.

Comparing to the AAAA from what I can recall this is not as smelly berry wise, not as many trichomes [but def nearing its quad form] and it’s not as dense as God Bud genetics aided in this strains large pine cone shaped size. In hindsight maybe my quad became dry and cracky (and seemingly more dense) because I kept it beside my PC which gives off a lot of heat…. aaaand now I can actually confirm that after leaving a large bud out of the bag for 6 hours with a direct comparison being obvious as fuck lol. In 24 hours it should be a [God] damned rock. After only 6 hours these two buds I was holding felt mad different, the un-bagged one felt fresh, colder, more squishy and the other dried up at room temp and got more or less dense-feeling. I can easily squish these un-bagged soft buds until they sponge like plushy car suspension; feeling exceptional density then though. Rip open a bud and the trichomes are maaaaasssssive and cake up, they must rub off on the outside and grow worse because inside they’re just….. it makes you wonder why it was ever illegal to solely possess; it’s beautiful-looking as a flower. It is trimmed well but you can tell the plant spent enough energy growing leaves making the trichomes a little spaced out on the outside. Trichomes are nearly on par with their AAAA++ Shishkaberry on the inside though, talk about micro-diamonds. The smell is of earth and grapes with maybe the slightest herbal/spicy, overall a sweeter but traditional weed snort. Heavier on the earth than the AAAA and if grape isn’t specifically apparent than its sweet-berryness is – my gf noted “like a lemon but not” lol. It’s not wafting out of the bag but it does have a solid nose, it smells great just not exceptional or standing out as being citrus IMO. After being ground up I can tell by hand feel it is similar to something else that was leafy, seemingly a bit dry [but not] almost like tobacco that isn’t cut in strips but in joint-sized pieces. When you ground up AAAA it will have a visual consistency, almost grinding to a finer powder but this is down a notch. I can pick up 2g’s+ with the tip of my finger but it won’t hold. It’s sticky but not as sticky as more expensive oz’s. It’s a tad harsh, my first bowl of the morning was like oh, fuck. Harshness went away for the third bowl – it’s the leaves. Just a tad harsh, barely noticeable. Even though it was trimmed well they couldn’t get them all on the outside, there’s too many. On the smaller medium sized buds there’s less leaf. The largest bud was like 2.75g; holy shit. The rest were mostly medium and then small pieces. That’s why this feels this way ground up and why it’s harsher and thus probably why it’s cheaper than AAAA but it’s not bad at all, I think it’s a second batch from a perfected seed – I think genetics get worse as you keep trying to maintain the same without breeding it (inbreeding). I don’t actually know but I thought that’s how genetics worked. My gf said it was “very classic weedy-smelling with an undertone of not lemony but how lemon has that undertone of citrus, like grassy, earthy, weedy.” She loves the smell and then later “ohhh, it’s a creeper.”

    -POTENCY-

Hard to describe but the end result is a unique high that is 100% on point with being relaxing-happy-euphoric-uplifted-sleepy [Leafly]. A profile that I would hand pick if I could. You actually don’t see euphoric-uplifted-sleepy following relaxing-happy too often on Leafly, it’s usually talkative & focused instead with sleepy reserved for hardcore indica strains. Relaxed but happy because I’m euphoric and uplifted because I’m happy and it’s all a little intense, making me sleepy. That’s the best I can describe. It doesn’t have a hard cerebral but it is noticeable in its underlying effects because it does lift you up with euphoria and the body is pretty melting/sleepy while the AAAA was more drooly/paralyzing. I like this because it will last a long time and there’s just enough cerebral to pull me out of a funk and enough body to do whatever indica does, make you sleepy with glowing visuals etc. 1-2 bowls was enough.

Potency and high profile are super accurate from Leafly, showing relaxing-happy-euphoric-uplifted-sleepy. Pretty far from both pure indica or sativa, I’d say it feels like a 50:50 or 60:40 indica. It warps its head with its body. The effect profile itself is in my top 5. The last 3 bars on the Leafly chart (euphoric, uplifted, sleepy) are all equal and awesome.
“This hybrid is a little more indica than it is sativa, and its flowers taste like sweet burnt berries. Grape God’s THC content can range between 14-28%. The effects from Grape God are long-lasting, simultaneously euphoric with that narcotic effect that comes with smoking an indica.” – Hytiva

    Couldn’t agree more.

Bag Appeal- 9/10 nice dense, solid, frosty nugs with purple hues throughout (8/10 for purple)

    Smell- Earthy
Taste- Sweet,Grapefruit with Earthy tones present on exhale
    High- Moderate

NOTE** These buds were nice and frosty with purple hues all over. Although it looks absolutely crushing I would definitely say it’s a nice solid daytime smoke.

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.

The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein

You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:

  • The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
  • But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
  • Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
  • Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
  • Websites in professional use templating systems.
  • Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
  • When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.

This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.
